Common Treatments

Hand and Wrist Arthroscopy - Arthroscopy is a type of minimally invasive surgery well suited for making delicate repairs on the complex structures of the hand and wrist. Arthroscopic surgery utilizes a piece of equipment called an arthroscope which is a flexible tube that has a small camera on the end as well as its own lighting system. Arthroscopic surgery allows your surgeon to utilize thin, streamlined instruments to navigate and repair the tendons, bones, joints and ligaments.

Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Surgery - Endoscopic surgery is done through one or two small incisions using a thin, telescope-like instrument called an endoscope.  During surgery, the transverse carpal ligament is cut (released).  This increases the tunnel space so that the median nerve is no longer under pressure.
